A thunderous round of applause and a standing ovation at the National Opera in Bucharest!

The Ruse State Opera’s ballet production of “Cinderella” was performed to great acclaim as part of the fifth edition of the prestigious Bucharest Opera Festival, which this year is being held under the theme “Love Affairs.”
On the stage of the National Opera in the Romanian capital, the ballet company and orchestra of our opera house, under the baton of Maestro Dimitar Kosev, captivated the audience with the music of Sergei Prokofiev and the enchanting story of Cinderella, turning the evening into a true celebration of the art of ballet.
The Bucharest Opera Festival is one of the most important events for opera and ballet in Romania, bringing together the country’s leading theatres and international guests on the stage of the National Opera in Bucharest. More than 1,500 artists, musicians, dancers, and technical crews are participating in this year’s festival.
