On June 19 at 7:00 p.m., the Ruse State Opera will present its impressive ballet production of Sergei Prokofiev’s "Cinderella" on the stage of the National Opera in Bucharest, as part of the prestigious Opera Festival in the Romanian capital.
This visit is yet another testament to the high artistic standards of the Ruse Opera House and its established presence on the international cultural scene. The Romanian audience will witness one of the most beloved fairy tales in world literature - a story of kindness, dreams, and the power of love, brought to life through Sergei Prokofiev’s expressive musical world and Natalia Osipova’s contemporary choreographic interpretation.
The production impresses with its visual concept, combining dynamic set design and video design by Petko Tanchev with the exquisite costumes by Yana Dvoretskaya. Under the baton of Dimitar Kosev, the ballet and orchestra of the Ruse State Opera will take the stage, with Tamara Lazarova serving as concertmaster for the performance.
The guest performance at the National Opera in Bucharest marks a significant milestone in the international activities of the Ruse State Opera and offers yet another opportunity for Bulgarian ballet to be presented to new audiences beyond the country’s borders.
