On the eve of May 24 - Day of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture, the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Mr. Pencho Milkov awarded honorary diplomas to artists - pensioners from the Ruse Opera, the Sava Ognyanov Drama Theatre and the Ruse Puppet Theatre!
"All of you have lived and worked in our city for many years and have contributed to the cultural image of Ruse. For this reason we would like to thank you with this small gesture."
Opera artists from the State Opera - Ruse Yolanta Nikolaeva and Evgeni Ganev, cellists Bogdana Peneva and Milena Nedyalkova received their diplomas personally. Among the names of those awarded with honorary diplomas are also violinists Emil Sheitanov, Veliana Dencheva, Khachik Papazian, Tsonka Raleva and Pavlinka Stefanova, French horn player Vasil Vlaikov and the choir singers Georgi Manev, Ivo Vlaev and Margarita Peteva.
Our instrumentalists and singers are expected by the director Plamen Beykov, who on behalf of the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Mr. Pencho Milkov, will present their honorary diplomas at a convenient time for each of them.
