Over the past few years, the State Opera-Ruse has suffered serious turmoil. We are still recovering from the fire of 2020 - a year of many losses for all of us, material and spiritual.
Nothing can stop art from developing and thriving as long as there are enough forces and supporters to back us in our endeavors.
The stage and the arts are our home, our temple, where we want to bring all those who know the magic of opera and all those who do not even suspect how much they need this magic.
A crystal statuette for a contribution to art in its crystal clear form may be just a statuette in someone's eyes, but in the eyes and hearts of the team of the State Opera-Ruse "Crystal Lyre" means a tribute and arouses gratitude and hope that despite the difficulties we face every day, art will not quietly fade away in the darkness.
