On 6 December 2019 at 19.00 in Sofia, Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture, State Opera - Ruse will present a concert with the world-famous baritone LEO NUCCI, soprano ANASTASIA BARTOLI and the orchestra of State Opera - Ruse.

Just a few days after the announcement of his concert on December 6 in Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture, Leo Nucci said that at the beginning of next year he will leave the stage for good He will change his role, but will remain part of the opera world as a director. Leo Nucci is a world-famous baritone, part of the legendary Italian opera artists. Leo Nucci has over 3000 concerts under his belt and his voice is still in great shape. The singer's repertoire includes the central roles in almost all of Verdi's operas.
His singing and artistic image is multifaceted - Leo Nucci also has an enviable reputation as a lyric baritone with an unusually attractive voice. These invaluable qualities are clearly evident in a form of his artistic expression in which he loves to perform on the great opera stages. These are his many recitals with piano accompaniment or his concerts with orchestra at La Scala, the Vienna State Opera, the Tokyo City Opera, the Zurich Opera and many more around the world.

Such will be his concert with the Rousse Opera Orchestra on 6 December in Hall 3 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, part of the celebrations dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Gyaurov, Nucci himself has had the honour of working with Gyaurov more than once.

Giorgio Croci has conducted as guest conductor and staging conductor in almost all Western European countries, in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, in South Korea, China and Japan, in the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, in Egypt, South Africa and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
