The first edition of the New Generation concert in 2021 included world premieres as well as premiere performances for Bulgaria of works by composers such as Rumen Boyadzhiev Jr, Angel Zabersky Jr, Minko Lambov, Georgi Strezov, Vasil Belezhkov, Dobromir Kisov and Georgi Andreev.
The idea and cause of "New Generation" is to encourage and support the writing of new Bulgarian symphonic works and to strengthen the interest of young musicians in Bulgaria in composing orchestral music.
If you are a composer and want your work to be played by one of the best symphony orchestras in Bulgaria, now is your chance!
In order to participate in the official New Generation selection, you must have completed a work for symphony orchestra or chamber/scratch orchestra.
Works for soloist(s) and orchestra are also accepted, and soloists must be provided by the composer.
