Suddenly the drive and talent of our collaborator, partner, colleague and friend were cut short... For more than a decade he brightened the stage of the Rousse Opera with his artistic presence, with the richness of his beautiful voice, with his delicate intellectual sense of humour, with his humble perseverance and his creative searches in his uncompromising professionalism. With his impersonations in dozens of roles, his wholehearted participation in educational programs, and his dedicated assistance in bringing productions to foreign visiting production teams, he has set an unforgettable example of how to work for the cause called the Rousse Opera. His absence from the Ruse and Bulgarian opera scene will leave a deep void that will be hard to bear.
The time has come for Emil to rest in peace, and we will carry on and pass on his bright memory as long as we are in this world.
