KONSTANTIN ILIEV - GRIGOR PALIKAROV

The concert is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Bulgarian conductor and composer Konstantin Iliev. With an original symphonic programme the Ruse Opera pays tribute to one of the founders of the Ruse Philharmonic and the Ruse Opera Theatre. The works chosen to fill the commemorative concert evening with unusual content are linked to the past of the Ruse Philharmonic - two works by the avant-garde composer and Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition - a favourite piece from Konstantin Iliev's vast conducting repertoire.

In the programme: works by Konstantin Iliev and Modest Mussorgsky.
