State Opera Ruse invites you to a symphonic concert featuring an inspiring program under the baton of Ukki Sachedina – a young and talented conductor of Indian-American descent and a student of Maestro Maxim Eshkenazy.
The soloist for the evening will be the rising pianist Veronika Ilieva – a graduate of the National School of Arts “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” in Ruse.
With the participation of the State Opera Ruse Orchestra, the concert program includes:

Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 6 (Pastoral)
Sergei Prokofiev – Piano Concerto No. 1
На диригентския пулт ще застане Укки Сачедина индийско-американски диригент с международна кариера, който живее и твори в Берлин и Лос Анджелис. Като гост-диригент е имал привилегията да работи с оркестри в цяла Европа и Съединените щати. Укки е бил асистент-диригент на Камерния оркестър на Лос Анджелис и на Хайме Мартин. В момента е под наставничеството на Максим Ешкенази, Йорма Панула и Маркус Щенц. Обучавал се е и при Пааво Ярви. Укки е бил гост в програмите на Българското национално радио и телевизия. Представян е в предаването на NPR „From the Top“, както и в „Young Artist Showcase“ по WXQR в Ню Йорк и в изданието New York Concert Review.
The stage will also welcome the young pianist Veronika Ilieva. Veronika is a student at the National School of Arts “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” in Ruse in the class of Evgeni Zhelyazkov. She has been actively involved in music and the arts since early childhood. She is a laureate of numerous first and second prizes from competitions in Italy, Switzerland, Cyprus, Estonia, Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria, including the Orbetello International Online Competition 2022, Odin International Music Competition 2020, the International “Franz Schubert” Competition (2019, 2021, 2023), “Hopes, Talents, Masters” 2022, and many more. In June 2025, she won First Prize at the prestigious international competition Premio Toscana Città di Cascina, held in Cascina, Italy.
