An example of such devoted presence in the life of the Ruse Opera is the remarkable figure of Stoyan Stoyandzhov – a distinguished soloist, bass-baritone, who captivates audiences not only as a singer but also as a dramatic actor. His personal contribution is rich and fruitful. The recognition of his name as a guarantee of consistent quality has continued for four decades of active creative work. He has shared his entire artistic destiny with that of the Ruse Opera Theatre. His stage performances have reached unforgettable peaks through the interpretation of central roles across all genres of music theatre – opera, operetta, and musical.
