State Opera Ruse is the traditional partner in the holding of the International Franz Schubert Competition in Ruse. This is a unique musical forum for Bulgaria and the region, dedicated to the Austrian composer. The competition discovers young talented musicians, creates contacts between performers and teachers, and in each of its editions provides a platform for the expression of current world performing and educational practices. Traditionally, the forum is open to the general public - with the Orchestra of the Ruse Opera, the final concert of the laureates is presented, which is broadcast online and recorded by the Bulgarian National Radio. The laureates of the competition also receive the opportunity to participate in the poster of the State Opera Ruse and in the concert program of the International Festival "March Music Days".
