Alexander Krunev is one of the brightest representatives of Bulgarian opera art, he is born on 7 October 1962 in Sofia. He graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in 1990. That same year he also made his professional debut on the stage of the State Opera-Plovdiv playing the part of Giorgio Germont in Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata.
