Bojena Petrova graduated from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in the piano class of the pedagogue and prominent concert performer Prof. Yovcho Krushev. She is the winner of prizes from national competitions and the First and Special prizes of the Second International Piano Competition "Albert Roussel" - Sofia. She has performed many times as a soloist with all Bulgarian philharmonic orchestras, as well as the Shanghai Philharmonic. In the period 2003-2009, she participated in the tours of the New York Harlem Theater with the opera "Porgy and Bess" by J. Gershwin in Germany, Holland, Spain, and Japan. Since 2002, she has been a pianist-soloist of the symphony orchestra of the State Opera-Rousse. At the same time, she is also one of the leading accompanists of the opera theater, appearing as an accompanist in numerous chamber programs, as well as in the educational concerts organized by the Ruse Opera. Bojena Petrova is a music teacher of the Ruse Children's Opera. Since 2003 Bozhena Petrova has been working as a music pedagogue at the Choir Studio "St. George the Victorious" for children and youngsters from 10 to 23 years of age. She started working as a music pedagogue and accompanist in 2016 at the established Ruse Children's Opera at the State Opera Ruse which was a very new thing at the time. Bojena successfully built upon the already gained experience and she established methodological and pedagogical principles for working with children and youth people.

Since 2003 Bozhena Petrova has been working as a music teacher in the St. George Victory Choir Studio, which is composed of children and young people from 10 to 23 years of age. She started working as a music teacher and accompanist in 2016 in the then newly established Ruse Children's Opera at the State Opera-Ruse, successfully building on the experience she has already gained and on her established methodological and pedagogical principles for working with children and young people.
