Boris Lukov is a hereditary opera artist - he is the grandson of the soprano Liliana Anastasova - one of the emblematic soloists of the opera theater in Varna. He was born in 1987. Boris Lukov graduated from the National Music School "L. Pipkov" and National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in the class of Prof. Niko Isakov in 2009 - a specialty in Classical singing. After his successful graduation, he was a soloist at the Varna State Opera (2013-2017). The young singer perfected his roles under the great Bulgarian tenor Emil Ivanov. On the opera stage, Boris Lukov takes the roles of Turidou in the opera "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro Mascagni, and Pollione in the opera "Norma" by Vincenzo Bellini, in the production of which he partnered with the emblematic soprano Dimitra Theodosiou in the first edition of the Opera Festival "Dionysia" on the Greek island of Corfu. In March 2017, Boris Lukov made his debut in the role of Mario Cavaradossi in the opera "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini on the stage of the State Opera and Ballet Theater in Krasnoyarsk. His repertoire also includes the roles of Alfred Germont from "La Traviata", Ismaele from "Nabucco", Macduff from "Macbeth", Cassio from "Otello" by Giuseppe Verdi, as well as Pinkerton from "Madame Butterfly" by Puccini. Boris Lukov participated in a number of international concerts. He has performed in the halls of the Berlin Philharmonic, Rachmaninoff Hall (Moscow Conservatory), Beethoven Hall (Bolshoi Theatre), Symphony Space (Broadway - New York) as well as in Bulgaria Hall - Sofia. "Nabucco" "The Madcap", "Old time Bulgarians". "The Queen of Chardasha" (Die Csárdásfürstin), "Bohemia", "La Traviata", "Troubadour", "Lucia di Lammermoor" and "A masked Ball" (Un ballo in maschera). The last role Boris Lukov took was the role of Ernani, which he performed in front of the ecstatic applause of the Romanian audience.

In March 2017 Boris Lukov made his debut as Mario Cavaradossi in Giacomo Puccini's opera Tosca on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
