Gloria Pencheva was born in Ruse. She graduated from the National School of Music "Prof. Veselin Stoyanov" - Ruse in the class of Classical singing in the class of the outstanding vocal teacher Katrin Emilova. She completed her Master's degree at the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov"- Sofia with a specialty in Classical singing in the class of prof. Prof. Ilka Popova and Assoc. She studied acting in the class of actor Plamen Kartalov and Vera Petrova.
Gloria Pencheva is a laureate of national and international competitions - "Orfeeva Darba" - Sofia - Second Prize, of the International Competition for German and Austrian Music "Magic" in Burgas - Third Prize, winner of the Second Prize of the International Song Competition for Chamber Duets - Voice and Piano "Gustav Mahler" in Sofia, winner of the International Competition for German and Austrian Music "Franz Schubert" in Ruse - First Prize.
The young singer has participated in the masterclass of the famous mezzo-soprano Christina Angelakova and in the masterclass of the award-winning opera artist and teacher Darina Takova within the framework of the International Music Festival "March Music Days" in 2018, as well as in the masterclass for interpretation of French music of Vera Nikolova and Olivier Doria.
Gloria's journey on the opera stage began in 2015, when she performed the role of Alice from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" with the Vidin Symphony under the baton of Deyan Pavlov. She has participated in numerous concerts with the State Opera-Ruse, Symphonietta-Sofia, the Academic Orchestra of the National Academy of Music and the Sofia Philharmonic.
In June 2016 Gloria Pencheva made her debut on the stage of the National Opera in Sofia in the role of Olga in the opera "Eugene Onegin". The same year, after a successful competition, the young opera singer won a scholarship and specialized in opera singing at the Boris Hristov Academy in Rome.
Since the beginning of 2018 Gloria Pencheva is a soloist of the State Opera-Ruse.
Gloria won the love of the audience in Rousse and successfully appeared in the roles of Mercedes ("Carmen"), Fenena ("Nabuco"), Kuna ("Crazy Gidia" by Parashkev Hadzhiev). Gloria impressed connoisseurs in the vocal and interpretive challenging role of Rosalia from Rossini's opera "The Strange Misunderstanding", which was performed on the stage of the Rousse Opera in 2018 for the first time in Bulgaria.
In 2023 he enters the role of Hermiar in "Summer 893" by P. Hadzhiev - premiere directed by Plamen Beykov, presented within the 62. International Festival "MARCH MUSICAL DAYS". He participated in a number of concert performances from the State Opera-Ruse poster such as "MARS AND VENUS - Tenori vs. Sopranos", "Star Hour", etc.
