Oboe principal

Plamen Pavlov studied oboe at the National School of Music Lyubomir Pipkov - Sofia, Bulgaria in P. Guzelski's class in 1977-1982. He got his bachelor's degree at the Music Academy in Weimar, majoring in Oboe. After 1984 he worked as an oboist-soloist in the orchestra of the Ruse Opera, and after 1985 he was a soloist-oboist in the Ruse Philharmonic. In the period 2000-2007, he was soloist-oboist in the Pleven Philharmonic. After that and until now he is a member of the orchestra of the State Opera-Rousse. His performing practice is rich in appearances in chamber instrumental ensembles.
