Double bass principal

Silvana Petkova graduated from the National School of Arts "Prof. Veselin Stoyanov" - Ruse in the double bass class of Evtim Evtimov and the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in the class of Prof. Georgi Velkov. She participated in the master classes of Prof. Christian Van Der Borght in Belgium and Thomas Martin in England.

Since 1998 she has been working in the Ruse Philharmonic, and since 2001 she has been soloist principal of the double bass in the orchestra of the State Opera Ruse.
